Defect details: <p>Even after the corrective action related to the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) software update implemented on January 19, 2024, the possibility of thermal overload was confirmed in the high-voltage battery, and it was confirmed that if a thermal overload condition occurs in the vehicle, the risk of fire or smoke may increase and the risk of injury to occupants, injury to people outside the vehicle, and property damage may increase. </p><p><br></p><p>(This corrective action is As a temporary procedure, we will be installing software that will limit the vehicle's maximum state of charge to 90% until a permanent solution is in place. In line with Jaguar Land Rover's recommendations, we ask you to take the following precautions to minimize thermal overload that could lead to a vehicle fire until the temporary procedure is completed.</p><p> - Only charge your vehicle to a maximum of 90% state of charge.</p><p> - Park away from structures.</p><p> - Charge externally.</p>
